My journey to NextPath really began through my Daughter who receives therapies through the NextPath program. After seeing what a great job is done by everyone here I was lucky enough to be able join the team in an Administration role. It is a program that is close to my heart and something I feel very lucky to be a part of.

I started working at Mater Dei/NextPath during the first COVID lockdown. I was meant to work for 6 weeks and loved it so much I decided to stay. My previous job was in hospitality and studied a Diploma in Event Management so of course I love to cook, eat and socialise. I love to see my family and friends in my spare time and play with my dog Callie on the weekends.

I actually started at Mater Dei as a parent accessing Early Intervention and therapy services for my two children. I started as an Assistant Goal Facilitator in the Pathways program (now NextPath Continuous Learning) while studying bookkeeping at TAFE. When the Funding Manager needed someone to assist them I was excited and happy to step into that role.

I started my career in hotels/events/hospitality, before heading into the corporate world of Administration support. I recently left the big city and now love being able to provide Administration support in the service sector for NextPath. I have a passion for the performing arts and am heavily involved in Campbelltown Theatre Group Inc, performing in, directing, and choreographing shows for fun.
Fun Fact: I love to tap dance. I’m not great at it… but I love it!

I was first introduced to Mater Dei as a parent when my daughter started attending the Mater Dei Early Childhood Education Play to Learn group at the start of 2022. Watching my daughter grow and thrive throughout the year, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Mater Dei, especially NextPath and their values. Having a background of Administration and Accounts, I jumped when the opportunity arose to be a part of the Funding team. I am so thankful to be working for such a fantastic organisation and to be a part of a brilliant team.
Fun Fact: My all-time favourite movie is Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge.

- If you could be any animal, which animal would you be? Perhaps an Eagle. It would be fun to be able to fly.

- Favourite TV show? I love reality tv but don’t have a particular favourite show… But I do like a fictional love story that ties in with history just like Outlander.
- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy my dream property on acres and have my parents and in-laws live in granny flats with us. I am extremely close to both my parents and in-laws

I started my journey with Mater Dei as a parent accessing Early Intervention services for my child. I have always had an Administration background and I was excited when the opportunity became available to join the funding team. I really enjoy my role assisting the Funding Manager and Funding Coordinator with day-to-day tasks and anything funding related!
Fun Fact: As a 3-year-old, I wrote off my parent’s car on our property whilst I was meant to be having a nap.
- Favourite Food? Too many to name, but sushi is definitely at the top.
- Dream Holiday destination? Italy
- If you could be any animal, which animal would you be? One that is very spoilt by their owners!
- Childhood nickname? Vej & Vegemite
- Favourite TV show? Anything crime related.
- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? After giving probably a substantial amount to family I would buy a farm and fill it with as many animals as possible!

I studied Business and Administration and have worked in the disability industry since 2004 covering Administration and Reception roles in various capacities. I started at Mater Dei in 2019 and it’s been a pleasure to assist and support the wonderful carers and families that come to Mater Dei.
Fun Fact: I love riding Motor Bikes - Road Bikes and Going Bush.
