Allied Health Assistant

I started out with Mater Dei as a volunteer with the NextPath Continuous Learning program in 2019. After a little while I was then offered a casual position as an Assistant Goal Facilitator (AGF) and occasionally would assist the NextPath Assessment & Therapy team during groups. I then became a contracted staff member and shared the position of Lead AGF, and then in October 2019 I was offered a role as an Allied Health Assistant for the therapy team and I’ve been here ever since. I’m currently doing a Certificate VI in Allied Health Assistance and specialising in Speech Pathology.

Fun Fact: I love music, and have experience playing the piano, violin, viola, flute and guitar.

- Favourite Food? My mum’s chocolate/coffee swirl cheesecake

- Dream Holiday destination? I’d love to go to England or Scotland someday!

- If you could be any animal, which animal would you be? Probably a dog, they just always seem so happy and chill

- Favourite TV show? Brooklyn Nine-Nine or the Simpsons

- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? I would probably buy a house on a big block of land and have heaps of animals!

- Rate your Karaoke skills 1-10. What is your go-to song? -3, I’ve never done karaoke before but my go-to song would probably be 'The Middle' by Jimmy Eat World
